Starting my career as a wide-eyed newcomer at BMP DDB London in 1990, I was recruited in 2000 by the legend Trevor Beattie to join TBWA/London where I rose to Creative Director and Head of Art until 2009,  when I took on the role of European Executive Creative Director of David & Goliath. Delivering 3 full car launches for KIA in the first 12 months, also winning the RED BULL Cola launch.

In the two years I was with my next agency, Red Bee, we won European Agency of the Year 2012 and 2013.

I moved to Canada in the middle of their coldest winter for 30 years to take on the role of Global Chief Creative Officer of TAXI. In two years, I recruited new creative leaders into 4 of our 5 Canadian offices, and our New York shop. With the best coaching and support from the amazing SWIM program, they became pillars of our culture and ambassadors of our brand.

Along with  CSO Mark Tomblin, I wrote the next evolution of the agency vision statement, and developed a refresh to our visual identity.

I had some nice articles published. Have a look here.

We lost some old business and won a bunch of new business. And a stack of awards.

In September 2013, at AdWeek in New York, I launched an anti-cyberbullying project, No Place To Hide. You can see some of the coverage here.

In 2015 we founded UNIT_

I’ve sat on juries at Cannes, D&AD, the Cassies and been a Creative Circle jury chairman twice.

I’ve seen the sunrise over the Rockies, the lights on Broadway, and I’ve had terrible Italian food in Montreal with a Belgian.

I’ve caught trout on the Grand River and been bitten by a husky while dogsledding on New Year's Eve.
